Feeder for bees

Bees need water to soften crystallized honey and to prepare food. It is also used in the intense summer heat to cool the inside of the hives. A bee colony thus consumes about 30 liters of water throughout the year, namely that which the bees bring to the hive in their honey stomachs.
The first work that a beekeeper does at the beginning of the beekeeping season is to set up a water feeder for the bees.
